On Saturday, March 22, former Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ current college team, the Illinois Blue Boys, won 10-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Monmouth Fighting Scots.
The game took place at Joe Brooks Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Scots this season.
The Blue Boys’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Joe Brooks Baseball Field against Monmouth Fighting Scots.
