Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ college team won in NCAA Division III baseball game on Tuesday, March 11

On Tuesday, March 11, former Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ current college team, the Illinois Blue Boys, won 13-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Eureka Red Devils.

The game took place at Joe Brooks Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Red Devils this season.

The Blue Boys’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at Brunner Field at Swanson Stadium against Augustana College Vikings.
