On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Christopher Community High School standout Cole Freeman’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Howell Bush Stadium at Averitt Express Baseball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Howell Bush Stadium at Averitt Express Baseball Complex against Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
