On Friday, Feb. 21, former Mount Vernon High School standout Calan Kujawa’s current college team, the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the McNeese State Cowboys.
The game took place at Joe Miller Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Cowboys this season.
The Golden Grizzlies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at Joe Miller Ballpark against McNeese State Cowboys.
