On Friday, March 14, former Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ current college team, the Illinois Blue Boys, lost 15-12 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Augustana College Vikings.
The game took place at Brunner Field at Swanson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Vikings this season.
The Blue Boys’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Brunner Field at Swanson Stadium against Dominican Stars.
