On Saturday, April 12, former Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ current college team, the Illinois Blue Boys, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Cornell Rams.
The game took place at Ash Park Field. This was their first matchup against the Rams this season.
The Blue Boys’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at Ash Park Field against Cornell Rams.
