On Saturday, March 15, former Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ current college team, the Illinois Blue Boys, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Dominican Stars.

The game took place at Brunner Field at Swanson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Stars this season.

The Blue Boys’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Joe Brooks Baseball Field against Monmouth Fighting Scots.
