On Sunday, April 6, former Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ current college team, the Illinois Blue Boys, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Knox Prairie Fire.
The game took place at Blodgett Field. This was their third matchup against the Fire this season.
The Blue Boys’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. at Ash Park Field against Cornell Rams.
