On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Benton Consolidated High School standouts Jon Tate and Tyler Chamness’ current college team, the Illinois Blue Boys, lost 12-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Wartburg Knights.

The game took place at Joe Brooks Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Knights this season.

The Blue Boys’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 8 a.m. at Chain of Lakes Field against Saint Mary’s Cardinals.
