Rend Lake College Athletics issued the following announcement on July 8
Warriors golfer Alex Sadler added another accolade to her stellar career at Rend Lake with her recent inclusion on the Region 24 All-Region Team. This marked her third time as an all-region selection.
In addition, Sadler received a scholarship to continue her golf career at Tennessee State University, where she plans to study physical therapy.
Her work in the classroom was as impressive as her displays on the course. Sadler maintained a 4.0 GPA and was named to the President’s List for both the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters.
Sadler was a medalist at two events this spring. She was also one of four Warriors who qualified for the NJCAA National Championship Tournament, placing third overall with a 25-over 169 across the two-round regional tournament.
In 2020, she was named the Region 24 Player of the Year.
