On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Mount Vernon Township High School standout Roman Harrison’s current college team, the Quincy Hawks, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes.
The game took place at Hurricane Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Hurricanes this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at QU Stadium against Colorado Mines Orediggers.
