SPECIAL MEETING BOARD OF TRUSTEES / TRUSTEE VACANCY
A special meeting of the Shawnee Community College District No. 531 Board Finance Committee was held June 4, 2025 in the Founders Room. Chairperson Heisner called the meeting to order at 10:47 am.

V. Presentation, Discussion, and Action Items
A. Review of Trustee Vacancy ResumesÂ
Chair Heisner shared the resumes received for the Trustee Vacancy. Five applicants were reviewed. All members ranked the resumes, discussing the value of all candidates. Chair Heisner acknowledged the talent of tall candidates.
− Chair Heisner will contact the chosen candidate;
− Letters of appreciation will be mailed to the remaining candidates;
− A motion of appointment will be made during the June 12 meeting;
− The Oath of Office will be administered.
