POLICE REPORT
REPORTS:
Supervisor - As this was the first time the township has faced a tenant that refused to move, we are having our lawyer look over the lease to close any loophole. The tenant has now vacated the premises. The carpeting in the various units is beginning to show wear and tear. We will replace any future worn out carpeting with laminate flooring.
Frankfort Township is once again marching in the July 4" Parade in Mokena. We will have one of our township buses in the parade if it proves to be too hot to continue marching without a respite. Road Commissioner will have his largest snow plow there, as well. The township Animal Control service will be discontinued as of June 29, 2018. Will County will respond to calls from the unincorporated areas. Frankfort and Mokena are going to take over this service in their villages. They have entered into a temporary agreement with the Township Highway Commissioner to use the kennels that are in his building until they can make arrangements for their own facilities.
Our Food Pantry has almost eliminated hungry families in this township. 45% of the families using the food pantry are seniors whose retirement monies have been seriously reduced by inflation.
