Franklin County issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
The Franklin County Board is seeking bids/proposals for the purpose of snow removal services for the following Franklin County Government facilities:
Storage Facility / Emergency Management Operations - E. Washington Street, Benton
Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center
Franklin County Justice Center
Franklin County Jail Facility - Parking Lot/Access Lanes
Franklin County Courthouse (Including Walkways/Steps up to both entrances)
Franklin County Campbell Building (including parking lot, front and South Main Street walkways)
Franklin County Emergency Management Headquarters - E. Park Street (Walkways, Front and Rear Parking Lots)
Snow removal will be required no later than 8:00 AM on any event day that snow accumulates over 2". Ice melt will be applied by bidder as required.
Interested parties must submit their proposal for services/bids to the Franklin County Board Administrative Office located at the Franklin County Campbell Building, 901 Public Square, Benton, Illinois 62812 no later than 4:00 PM on October 15th, 2018. Proof of insurance up to $100,000.00 is required.
