City of Christopher issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
The Fall Festival Parade will be October 27th at dusk, less than a month away. The theme for the parade this year is Illinois Bicentennial. If you plan to enter a float in the parade and need ideas for your float, go to http://www.cityofchristopher.org/ click on the Illinois Bicentennial logo and then click on any date range.
Decorated golf carts, side by sides, and jeeps can be entered into the parade. $50.00 will be given to the best decorated vehicle. For additional information please call 618 927-3301.
