SSM HEALTH GOOD SAMARITHAN HOSPITAL - MT. VERNON: SSM Health names Bob Pritts as President of SSM Health at Home & Post-Acute Services

SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital - Mt. Vernon issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.

SSM Health has named Bob Pritts as President of SSM Health at Home & Post-Acute Services, effective Sept. 10. In this role, Pritts will oversee all post-acute services, including home health, hospice, palliative care, home infusion, home medical equipment, long-term care facilities and rehabilitation services, across the health system’s service areas in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.

Pritts brings more than 30 years of experience in post-acute care administration to the position. Most recently, he served as CEO – Market Executive for SSM Health Rehabilitation Network, a successful joint venture partnership between Select Medical and SSM Health. He previously served as the Service Line Administrator for Musculoskeletal and Rehabilitation Services at TriHealth, a six-hospital health system in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition, Pritts has held several post-acute care leadership roles at other health care organizations in St. Louis and Ohio.

“Bob will play a vital role for our organization, as post-acute care is a crucial part of the care continuum and one of the fastest-growing segments of health care in the United States,” said Carter Dredge, Chief Transformation Officer of SSM Health. “His experience and expertise will be a vital asset as we further expand and transform our ministry, while continuing to provide exceptional, compassionate care in the communities we serve.”

Pritts earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash., and a master’s degree in health administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
