Here is the minutes provided by the board:

1. Call to order

Mr. Tate, President, called the meeting to order at 6:29 PM.

Roll Call

MEMBERS PRESENT: Jay Tate, President; Derek Sledge, Vice-President; Clint Turner, Secretary; Anthony Fisher; Jeff Steffy; Chad Curd

MEMBERS ABSENT: Becky Barbour

ALSO PRESENT: Michael Denault, Superintendent

Carolyn Clark, Secretary

Vicki Penrod, Treasurer

VISITOR’S PRESENT: Michelle Forbes; Monica Maxey

2. Opening Prayer

Chad Curd opened the meeting with prayer.

3. Closed Session

A. The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body.

Motion was made by Mr. Sledge and seconded by Mr. Fisher to go into closed session at 6:30 PM for the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body.

MOTION # 3

Motion was made by Mr. Sledge and seconded by Mr. Fisher to approve the consent agenda consisting of the following items:

A. Minutes of the October 16, 2018, Regular Minutes and closed session minutes.

5. Recognition of Visitors

A. Update on Online Board Policy Manual

Mr. Denault, Superintendent, updated the Board on the progress of an online Board Policy Manual.

B. Hallway mats with School Logo chosen by students

7. New Business

A. Consider approval of Preliminary FY2019 Property Tax Levy

E. Consider posting positions for the 2019-20 school year.

Motion was made by Mr. Tate and seconded by Mrs. Barbour to post the following positions for the 2019-2020 school year: Physical Education Teacher and Music Teacher.

F. Review of Closed Session Minutes for 2017-18 school year.

MOTION # 8

Motion was made by Mr. Tate and seconded by Mr. Curd to review and keep as closed the closed session minutes for 2017-18. Steffy-yes; Curd-yes; Turner-yes; Barbour-yes Tate-yes; Fisher-yes; Sledge-yes.

G. Consider the transfer of $15,000 from the Education Fund to Bond and Interest.

Motion was made by Mr. Curd and seconded by Mr. Sledge to approve the transfer of $15,000 from the Education Fund to Bond and Interest. Tate-yes; Barbour-yes; Sledge- yes; Fisher-yes; Turner-yes; Steffy-yes; Curd-yes.

H. Consider the approval of November 15, 2018 as a snow day for future calendar adjustment.
