Report: Christopher spent $10,272 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Christopher Community Unit School District 99 is up 4.5 percent from five years ago, according to a North Egypt News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Franklin County school district spent $9,826 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,272 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 803 to 772.

Christopher's spending in 2017-18 was 23 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
