City of Mt. Vernon issued the following announcement on Feb. 28.
Public Notice: Today at 10:30 am we will be switching from our current phone system to our newly installed system. There is a potential for interruption of service at this time. This switch should have no impact on the 911 system. Thank you in advance for your patience during this transition.
