The City of West Frankfort Police Department issued the following announcement on March 12.
Due to the weather forecast on Thursday March 14, of clear skies and temperatures in 70's with possible wind speeds of 50mph the City of West Frankfort, Denning and Frankfort Townships will be under a Burn Ban. This means no burning of any kind for the period listed.
From 6:00pm Wednesday March 13, 2019 to 6:00pm Friday March 15, 2019
