City of Zeigler issued the following announcement on March 18.
The 11th Annual Bennie Drust Coaches Vs. Cancer Alumni Game located in the Art Brandon Gymnasium at ZRHS. We will be have a Burger Bar from 4 to 6:30 pm. The Charles Brower 3 Point Shoot-Out will start at 5 pm. If you are wanting to participate in the shoot-out come early to sign up and pay the $5 entry fee. Game admission is $3 adults and $2 children. JV (younger men's game) will start after the 3 point shoot-out. Jr. Cheerleaders will perform between the games then any Alumni cheerleaders are welcome to perform the school song with the high school cheerleaders. Our Varsity Game (older men's game) will then begin. Contact Brian and Christy Cheatham to make donations for the meal, concession stand, and raffle table. We appreciate your continued support every year!!! Thank you!!!! Cost of the meal is $5. It will include: burger, toppings, chips, dessert and lemonade/tea. Other beverages can be purchased through the concession stand.
