The data shows that three men and two women were released in West Frankfort. The median age of the parolees was 41. The youngest parolee is a 30-year-old man sentenced for property crimes in 2017, and the oldest is a 52-year-old man sentenced for crimes against justice in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Bengie C. McGee. He was convicted of property crimes in 2016 when he was 40 years old. He is now 43.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
