There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62999, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by North Egypt News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Menard zip code. The 34-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 6 years in prison for a crime against a person in 2016 when he was 31 years old.
