City of Mt. Vernon issued the following announcement on July 16.
Come out and enjoy Mt. Vernon's Market Days presented by SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital! In it's 6th season, Market Days are Mt. Vernon’s very own flea market and vendor fair. Located at Veteran's Park, 800 S. 27th St, Market Days occur on the first Saturday of every month between May and September. For the month of August, Market Days will offer outdoor booths only. Go inside the Rolland Lewis Building and purchase yummy BBQ from the Jefferson County 4H Club! At Market Days, a variety of vendors sell diverse items such as antiques, collectibles, handmade items, plants, jewelry, blacksmith, flea market finds, produce, baked goods, kettle corn and more! Admission is free and kid’s activities are provided. Visit, shop, and enjoy the fun atmosphere at Mt. Vernon's Market Days!
