The Pavilon, home of the second annual Southern Illinois Made Expo
The second annual Southern Illinois Made Expo is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 27-28 at The Pavilion in Marion. Several southern Illinois businesses will showcase a wide collection of products to retail buyers and the general public.
Manufacturers, designer artists and Sen. Dale Fowler (R-Eldorado) will be among the many in attendance. Guests can examine a variety of vendors specializing in craftwork, food and beverage, tourism, farmers and winemakers. Guests are also encouraged to make a $5 donation to Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois as a form of admission, which will also enter them in a raffle to win a new camper.
The expo is part of a conjoined partnership between Fowler and the Southern Illinois Chambers of Commerce, where all proceeds will support veterans across the region.
Director of Pepsi MidAmerican Jason Powell told “News 3 This Morning” how the event is an excellent way for businesses to flourish.
“You rarely get to come under one roof and get to interact and network with that many businesses,” Powell said.
