City of Christopher issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.
The City of Christopher is in the running for a DCEO housing rehabilitation grant for 2020. Here are the first requirements for applicant: Must be a homeowner who expects to live in the house for many years to come AND the house must be occupied. If the house is unfit to live in, it will not qualify for a grant. Rental properties are not eligible. Eligibility is also based on income level and number in the household. Those over 62, disabled, and with a very low income receive the highest "points." Applications may be picked up at City Hall or by emailing Tammy Campbell, the grant administrator at John H Crawford and Associates at tammy.campbell7@yahoo.com.
