Woodlawn Unit School District 209 Board met June 4.

A special board meeting was held on June 4, 2019 at the high school. The meeting was called to order by Scott Owens at 5:00 pm. Roll Call was taken with the above members present. Also Present: Dave Larkin, Eric Helbig, Matt Smith, Shane Witzel, Julie Rednour, Chris Braden, and Stacey Wielt.

A motion was made by Jeff Burkett and seconded by Steve Danner to go into closed session at 5:02p.m. for the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity (5 ILCS 120/2 © (1) and Collective negotiating matters between the District and its employees or their representatives or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. (5 ILCS 120/2 ©, (2)).

Members voted: Scott Owens, yes; Steve Danner, yes; Jeff Burkett, yes; Dianne Fritschle, yes; Chad Phelps, yes;

Motion carried

A motion was made by Chad Phelpsand seconded by Dianne Fritschle to return to open session at 7:17 pm.

Motion carried

A motion was made by Steve Danner and seconded by Jeff Burkett to adjourn at 7:18 p.m.
