Jefferson County Board Fiscal Committee met June 20.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: SEAN WILKEY, CHAIRMAN, JEFF WILLIAMS, JERE SHAW & JAMES MALONE

OTHERS PRESENT: CLIFF LINDEMANN, RANDY EDWARDS, ADAM ORTGIESEN, WAYNE HICKS, JEFF NOWLAND, TIM MARLOW, STEVE DRAEGE, BOB WATT, JEFF BULLARD, RANDY POLLARD, TERRY KNOWLES & SUZY TATE
No one was present for public input.
County Treasurer Bob Watt was present to discuss the county's finances. Please see attached documentation.
Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to approve the Resolution Establishing Civil Fees and Criminal and Traffic Assessments to be charged by the Clerk of the Circuit Court.
Motion Failed. Vote - 2 aye, 2 nay
Motion by Jere Shaw and seconded by Jeff Williams to send the Resolution Establishing Civil Fees and Criminal and Traffic Assessments to be charged by the Clerk of the Circuit Court to the Full Board for consideration.
Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, O nay
Sheriff Jeff Bullard was present to inform the committee that he is going to purchase a squad car for the Sheriff's Dept. Money was budgeted within the Jail budget for boiler replacement but due to a grant, this money will not be needed. Bullard will be using those monies to purchase the squad car.
Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to approve the FY 2019-2020 budget forms as presented.
Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, o nay Forms will be distributed on June 25 and requested return date of July 29.
Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to approve the paid claims as presented.
Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay
Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by Jere Shaw to recommend to the Full Board to approve the Payroll Distribution Report as presented.
Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay
