McClellan Community Consolidated School District 12 Board of Education met May 21.

Regular Board Meeting

I. Call to Order at 6:00 P.M.

II. Roll Call of Members Present - Members present were Joe Brown, Ian Cooper, Dorothy Johnson, Jamie McGehee, and Eric Shelton. Not present were Jackie Gray and Eddie Vaughn.

III. Visitors - Jessica Stout and Brittany Short

IV. Reports to the Board

A. Administration Report.

B. Students of the Month.

C. Upcoming Dates.

D. Safety Grant Update.

E. E-Rate Update.

F. Jr. Achievement.

V. Approve Consent Agenda Items

A. Review and accept the consent agenda items, Motion by Jamie McGehee and second by Eric Shelton. Motion Carried

VI. Action Items

A. Motion by Ian Cooper and second by Joe Brown to approve policy 4:190-API, EI.

Motion Carried.

B. Motion by Joe Brown and second by Jamie McGehee to approve Pearson Program for 3rd and 4th.

Motion Carried.

C. Motion by Joe Brown and second by Eric Shelton to approve SI services as custodial services for 2019-20 SY at $60/day and $2200 for floors.

Motion Carried.

D. Motion by Jamie McGehee and second by Joe Brown to approve handbook changes as presented.

Motion Carried.

E. Motion by Joe Brown and second by Ian Cooper to approve to approve teacher requisitions for 2019-20 SY.

Motion Carried.

F. Motion by Ian Cooper and second by Jamie McGehee to approve Title I plan to 2019-20 SY.

Motion Carried.

G. Motion by Jamie McGehee and second by Eric Shelton to approve Budget Hearing at 6:00 June 25th

Motion Carried.

H. Motion by Joe Brown and second by Eric Shelton to approve 5 vacation days for Kim Mann for the 2019-20 SY.

Motion Carried. .

VII. Motion for Adjournment - Motion by Ian Cooper and second by Eric Shelton to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 P.M. Motion carried
