Franklin County issued the following announcement on Oct. 12.
Franklin County Treasurer Steve Vercellino has announced that the proceeds from the 1% County Public Safety Tax collected in July 2019 was received on 10/11/2019 in the amount of $191,707.50.
The first quarterly payment on the 2019 Debt Certificates is due on 12/15/2019 in the amount of $220,662.72.
Franklin County Treasurer Steve Vercellino remains committed to pay the debt in full prior to the 15 year sunset of the Public Safety Tax.
