Notice is hereby given that on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 5:50 p.m., the Board of Education of Mount Vernon City Schools, District No. 80 will convene a public hearing, before the regularly scheduled Board Meeting, to consider a proposed application to waive I 05 Illinois School Code Section I 0-20. l 2(a), relating to non-resident student tuition. Specifically, the proposed waiver would permit the School District to enroll non-resident children of full-time District 80 employees without requiring payment of tuition. During the hearing, the Board will hear testimony from staff, parents, students, and any other interested persons who wish to address the Board. The hearing will be held at the District Office, 2710 North Street, Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
