Jefferson County Fiscal Committee met Oct. 24.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Committee Members Present: Sean Wilkey, Chairman, Jeff Williams, Jere Shaw and James Malone

Absent: Joey McDermott

Others Present: Cliff Lindemann, Adam Ortgiesen, Wayne Hicks, Randy Edwards, Tim Marlow, Jeff Nowland, Bob Watt, Jeff Bullard, Randy Pollard, Terry Knowles and Suzy Tate

No one was present for public input.

County Treasurer Bob Watt was present to discuss the county's finances. Please see attached documentation.

Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to accept the tentative FY 2019-2020 budget.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative General Corporate levy in the amount of $865,437.46.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jere Shaw to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative IMRF levy in the amount of $500,000.00.

Motion Carried. Vote -4 aye, O nay

Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative County Highway levy in the amount of $416,842.00.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative Township Bridge levy in the amount of $192,730.00.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative 708 Mental Health levy in the amount of $156,774.00.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by James Malone to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative Tuberculosis levy in the amount of $59,120.00.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative Federal Aid Matching levy in the amount of $182,730.00.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by James Malone to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative Health Department levy in the amount of $180,895.00.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by James Malone to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative Liability Insurance levy in the amount of $283,339.00.

Motion Carried. Vote – 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by Jere Shaw to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative FICA levy in the amount of $478,076.00.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by Jere Shaw to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative Jefferson County Extension levy in the amount of $116,580.00.

Motion Carried, Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by Jeff Williams and seconded by James Malone to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative Workman's Compensation levy in the amount of $196,318.00.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jeff Williams to recommend to the Full Board to approve the tentative Medicare levy in the amount of $115,991.00.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by James Malone and seconded by Jere Shaw to recommend to the Full Board to approve the paid claims as presented.

Motion Carried. Vote -4 aye, 0 nay

Motion by Jere Shaw and seconded by James Malone to recommend to the Full Board to approve the Payroll Distribution Report as presented.

Motion Carried. Vote - 4 aye, 0 nay
