Ewing Township issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
Legislation to ensure the collection of sales tax revenue through online marketplace facilitators (i.e., Amazon, eBay and Etsy) was passed by the Senate last week and now awaits the governor's signature. House Bills 4540, 4541, 4542 and 4543, supported by MTA, would codify the state's sales and use tax treatment for remote sellers, ensuring sales tax is collected for those purchases.
