Jefferson County Board Highway Committee met Nov. 21.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

1. Call to Order

Highway Committee Meeting was called to order by Tim Marlow, at 6:15 P.M, in County Board Room.

2. Roll Call

Tim Marlow, Steve Draege, Adam Ortgiesen, and Jeff Williams 

Absent: Nowland

Others present: Sean Wilkey, Randy Edwards, Brandon Simmons, James Malone, and Sandra Wellmaker, and media,

3. Public Input.

4. Items to be presented for Action.

A. Pay Monthly bills.

- Motion by Williams and seconded by Draege to recommend to the full board to approve monthly claims as presented, 

- Motion carried: Ayes: 4 (Marlow, Draege, Williams, and Ortgiesen) 

- 0 Nay

B. Review and Approval of Fuel Bids.

- Motion by Ortgiesen and seconded by Draege to recommend to the full board to approve fuel quote for a three

(3) month period starting November 26, 2019 and ending February 24, 2020, diesel $ 2.0179; gasoline $1.6981 Total price $ 3.7160 to Synenergy, Wayne City, Illinois. 

- Motion carried: Ayes: 4 (Marlow, Draege, Williams, and Ortgiesen)

C. Approval of Resolution Appropriating County Motor Fuel Tax Funds for 2020.

Motion by Draege and seconded by Ortgiesen to recommend to the full board to approve a resolution appropriating Si Six Hundred Twenty thousand dollars ($620,000.00) for County Motor Fuel Tax for year 2020. 

- Motion carried: Ayes: 4 (Marlow, Draege, Williams, and Ortgiesen)

D. Approval of Application to Purchase State of Illinois Surplus Property.

Motion by Draege and seconded by Ortgiesen to recommend to the full board to approve Application allowing purchases trough The State of Illinois Surplus Property, 

- Motion carried: Ayes: 4 (Marlow, Draege, Williams, and Ortgiesen)

B. Any other Business Necessary and Proper.
