Christopher Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.
To the residence of Christopher: Please be aware if you receive a phone call from Franklin county law enforcement agency or any law enforcement agency asking for money for a fine or warrant, IT IS A SCAM. They can not ask for money over the phone. If you receive one of these calls or have a question call Christopher police department 618-724-4040.
