City of Christopher issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.
A big Thank You to the many Christopher residents that made the transition from Bulldog to Republic Services smoother than expected. MOST of our folks have been very kind and patient during this process. If you somehow received (??) two totes, the second tote has been removed until every customer has one tote in place.Distribution of the second totes will begin next week. We appreciate the Facebook responses for the second tote request, as it greatly reduced the phone calls to City Hall. As a reminder-your pick up days remain the same. Please have your tote to the curb the night prior to service. If you have two totes, please keep them separated to allow space for the arm on the truck to pick up the tote. Do not place your tote near a parked vehicle. Also, the RECYCLE bins should return to their same location by late afternoon tomorrow, January 10. Again, we so very much appreciate your kindness throughout the transition of the garbage service and thanks again to Republic for your endless hours to make it all happen.
