President’s Comments

*Veteran’s Day Celebration went very well. The students did a spectacular job honoring our Veterans. Thank you to Mrs. Milligan and her students for an outstanding program.

*Christmas program will be Tuesday, December 17th at 6:00pm for PreK-4th Grade and 7:00pm for 5th-8th Grade.

* Thank you cards were read from the Josh Carlton Family for allowing them to have a fundraiser at Ewing Grade School.

Open Board Seat

There was no acknowledgement or discussion of community members interested in the open board seat.

Appoint new Board Member

MOTION by Adam Allsopp to appoint new board member, Karla Gunter, for the remainder of Larry Webb’s term (Dec 2019-April 2021) 2nd by Shannon Webb. 6 ayes (Tom Harmon, Jonathon Edwards, Jake Page, Shannon Webb, Craig Zinzilieta, and Adam Allsopp).

Intent to Play

MOTION by Tom Harmon to accept the SIJHSAA Intent to Play for the 2020-2021 school year. 2nd by Jonathon Edwards. 6 ayes (Tom Harmon, Jake Page, Craig Zinzilieta, Shannon Webb, Jonathon Edwards and Adam Allsopp).

Safety Plans

Mrs. Ing reviewed the Safety plans, Protocols, Procedures, and School Safety Drills for the 2019-2020 school year.

Public Hearing

Mrs. Ing presented information to the board and the public on the proposed Technology Protection Measures and Internet Safety Policy as set forth by the Children’s Internet Protection Act and the Neighborhood Protection Act.

Tax Levy

Mrs. Ing presented information regarding the property tax levy and adopted a Tentative Tax Levy for 2019 payable in the fall of 2020. MOTION by Shannon Webb to put the tax levy on display in the District office until the next Board meeting, December 16, 2019. 2nd by Adam Allsopp. 6 aye (Tom Harmon, Jake Page, Craig Zinzilieta, Shannon Webb, Jonathon Edwards and Adam Allsopp.

Seniority Roster and Years of Service

MOTION by Adam Allsopp to approve the 2019-2020 seniority and years of service roster; 2nd by Jonathon Edwards. 6 ayes (Craig Zinzilieta, Jonathon Edwards, Tom Harmon, Jake Page, Shannon Webb and Adam Allsopp).
