City of Mt. Vernon issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
We are accepting applications for lifeguards and guest services staff for the upcoming season at the Aquatic Zoo. Hourly pay for lifeguards is $10.25 per hour and guest services is $10.00 per hour. If interested, you can pick up an application and release form from the Human Resources office at City Hall or on the city website http://mtvernon.com/human-resources. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
