Employees of two Washington health care facilities have tested positive for COVID-19 and the Franklin County Health Department is asking individuals who visited the hospitals to monitor for symptoms.
Anyone who has visited Mercy Hospital Washington or Total Access Urgent Care in the City of Washington on March 20 is being asked by county officials to take caution and check for COVID-19 symptoms, according to Fox 2.
Health officials recommend taking your temperature twice each day and to be on the lookout for a fever, cough, shortness of breath or a sore throat - all of which are symptoms of the coronavirus.
It's also suggested that individuals self-monitor for 14 days after they were at either of the two hospitals, according to Fox 2.
If you are to develop any of the symptoms for COVID-19, officials said to contact a primary physician or the Missouri state health hotline at 877-435-8411.
