Ewing Township issued the following announcement on April 11.
Executive Order 2020-42 was signed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer extending the "stay home, stay safe" period through April 30. The order contains additional restrictions including the number of individuals permitted in a grocery store or other allowed business at one time as well as the prohibition on travel for vacations or any other nonessential purpose. The governor stated "Michigan has the third highest number of COVID-19 cases in the country, and we're still on the upswing. We must continue to do everything we can to slow the spread and protect our families."
