HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

Earlier this month our eligible students attended the 1st Semester PBIS award trip, which consisted of a trip to the movie theatre in Marion and Pizza for lunch. I would like to give a thank you to our faculty, staff, and PBIS team for making the trip such a huge success. With the second semester underway our Credit Recovery and SAT Prep programs are also started. So far we have heard positive feedback from the students regarding both topics. Our school was once again selected to attend the Hamilton Musical through the Hamilton Education Program. At this time we have been given 55 tickets which accounts for 50 Junior's and 5 chaperones. The production will be in May and I will provide more details at future board meetings. Recognition needs to be given to Mrs. Eberhart for her efforts in once again getting us signed up for the opportunity. This past week our boy's basketball team competed in the Egyptian Mid Winter Tournament. From that tournament Gannon Dollins was selected as a member of the All Tournament Team and our Cheerleaders won the Mid Winter Spirit award at the tournament. Also last week our girl's basketball Co-op competed in the Farmer's Frenzy Tournament at Elverado where Lainey Morris earned all-tournament honors as well.
