Jefferson County Historical Village and Museum issued the following announcement on May 1.
In response to government COVID-19 health guidelines and caution for the well being of our members and community, all events planned through May 31 have been canceled. The Barbara Kay portrayal of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the Mark Dvorak program, and the John Lynn program will be rescheduled if possible.
The village will not be open to visitors in May. Because most of the docents who open the village to visitors are considered “VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS” in the presidents' plans for reopening the country for business, it is unclear when we will be allowed to resume normal operations. We will keep you informed here. Please stay safe!
