Waltonville Community Unit School District 1 Board of Education met April 23.

Regular Board meeting called to order at 6:32 P.M. Present: Anderson, Banach, Easthamn, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Absent: Devor.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker, to approve the minutes of the March 26th, 2020, Regular Board Meeting. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Walker, Seconded by Anderson, to approve the closed session minutes for March 26th, 2020. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker, to approve the bills and Treasurer's report including additional bills totaling $626.45. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker, to give Dr. Melanie Brink to discuss the Sherman Bus Contract with Sherinan Bus, regarding potential amendment. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker, to approve the Second Reading for Board Press 102, with the exception of deleting 4.80, 5.330, 6.60, and 7.270. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Norris, Seconded by Anderson, to approve the 3 year contract with Iconik. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Discussion of Agricultural Annual Report for 2019-2020.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker, to go into closed session at 7:25 P.M. for the purpose of discussing the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees, collective bargaining, and student discipline. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Norris, Seconded by Walker, to accept the resignation of Ethan Shurtz, Junior High Basketball Coach, for 2020-2021 school year. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Norris, Seconded by Walker, to approve the resignation of Rick Shurtz, Junior High Assistant Basketball Coach, for 2020-2021 school year. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.
