Waltonville Community Unit #1 Board of Education met May 28.

Regular Board meeting called to order at 6:30 P.M. Present: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham. Frick. Norris, and Walker.

Motion by Anderson. Seconded by Devor, to approve the minutes of the April 23rd, 2020, Regular Board Meeting. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker, to approve the closed session minutes for April 23rd, 2020. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Banach, to approve the Special Meeting minutes for the May 14th. 2020. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: one. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker, to approve the closed session minutes for May 14th, 2020. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker, to approve the bills and Treasurer's report including additional bills totaling $7451.81. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris. and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker, to purchase videos of 8th Grade Graduation & Senior Graduation, for a cost of $1,000, one video per graduate. Yea: Anderson, Banach. Eastham, frick, Norris, and Walker. Abstain: Devor. Nay: one. Motion Carried.

Motion by Walker, Seconded by Eastham, to move the Budget Hearing to June 25th· 2020 at 6:15 P.M. Yea: Anderson. Banach. Devor. Eastham, Frick, orris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Walker. Seconded by 01Tis, to approve the Amended Budget for the 2019-2020 School Year. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham. Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Discussion of First Reading.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Walker. to go into closed session at 7:07 P.M. for the purpose of discussing the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees, collective bargaining, and student discipline. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham. Frick, orris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Devor, Seconded by Walker, to re-hire all Non-Certified Staff Member for the 2020-2021 school year. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, orris, and Walker. ay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Eastham, to accept the resignation of Special Ed Driver, Nonna Dees, for 2020-2021 school year. Yea: Anderson, Banach. Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris. and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson. Seconded by Norris, to approve a job posting for a full-time custodial position, for 2020-2021 school year. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris. and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Anderson, Seconded by Banach. to approve Rachel Lewis as Grade School Secretary, at a rate of $ 14.50, for the 2020-2021 school year. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor. Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.

Motion by Walker, Seconded by Eastham, to schedule a Special Board Meeting for June 11th, 2020 at 6:30 P.M. Yea: Anderson, Banach, Devor, Eastham, Frick, Norris, and Walker. Nay: None. Motion Carried.
