Chris Hayes called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Staley made a motion to approve the consent agenda which included the previous meeting and bills totaling $379,240.95. Mullinax seconded the motion.

Wheeler made a motion to appoint Mr. Stone as the districts Homeless Liaison. Mullinax seconded the motion.

Staley made a motion to set a Board of Education Meeting for Tuesday, June 30 at 7:00 PM. Items to be on the agenda will include HVAC Project Bids reviews. The HVAC contract may be awarded. Mullinax seconded the motion.

School opening for the fall of 2020 was discussed. Field School will be following guidelines provided by ISBE and IDPH. Students will eat in their classrooms and mask will be required.
The possibility of postponing the music program for the 2020-2021 school year was discussed.
Postponing music will provide for an additional teacher in the classroom and it will reduce class sizes. Smaller class size will allow for social distancing and will make the music room available for a class of larger size. No board action was taken.
Wheeler made a motion to enter into closed session at 7:50 to discuss the reduction in force of educational support staff. Mullinax seconded the motion.
