Benton Chamber Of Commerce Inc issued the following announcement on Apr. 16.
The Franklin County Farm Bureau presented two Grain Rescue Tubes to the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) along with Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS). Representatives from these organizations as well as Franklin County Sheriff Dave Bartoni and Deputy Sheriff Kyle Bacon were on hand for the presentation.
The following businesses made donations get these Grain Rescue Tubes purchased: Franklin County COUNTRY Financial Reps – Michael Brachear, Krista Menckowski and Adrienne Mason, CORTEVA Agriscience, Precision Crop Services and Southern FS.
It is our hope that these never have to be used but it is a true blessing to have them available in the instance that they would be needed. These Grain Rescue Tubes will also be available to surrounding counties should they be needed.
