Benton Chamber Of Commerce Inc issued the following announcement on May. 4.
The City of Benton received word this morning of more closures of railroad crossings for repair. Please avoid the following crossings during repair as the roads will be temporarily closed.
5/4/21 - Illinois Avenue and Joplin Street to be repaired.
5/5/21 - East Lawrence and East Webster Street to be repaired.
5/17/21 - East Main to be repaired.
5/19/21 - Bailey Lane to be repaired.
The company is hoping for all repairs to be done in one day after being started. However, if problems are encountered, repairs will be extended through the next day.
