Maskscovid19

Ewing Township issued the following announcement on May. 7.

An updated Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Gatherings and Face Masks epidemic order going into effect tomorrow, May 6, through May 31 and removes the mask-wearing requirement for outdoor activities with less than 100 people. In addition, MDHHS has also removed required routine testing for fully vaccinated organized sports participants if they are asymptomatic. Masks will continue to be required for contact sports but are no longer required outdoors during active practice and competition for non-contact sports. MTA will update our guidance for townships (found on www.michigantownships.org/coronavirus.asp) to reflect the new order.
