Ewing Township issued the following announcement on May. 19.
For the first time in many years, the Michigan Department Of Treasury is proposing a major update of the Principal Residence Exemption (PRE) Guidelines. Because these guidelines are used widely by township officials, the department is seeking their input on the draft.
Email your comments and suggestions to PRE@michigan.gov with the subject "Guidelines Comments" by Monday, June 28, 2021. Review the draft here: https://www.michigan.gov/.../PRE_Guidelines_725007_7.pdf.
