Q4 2020 Recap: 1 parolee from Franklin County convicted of crimes involving alcohol set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime involving alcohol released on parole in Franklin County during the fourth quarter of 2020, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the North Egypt News.

The data shows that the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2019 when he was 37 years old. He is now 38.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of crimes involving alcohol were paroled during the fourth quarter of 2020 in each Illinois county.
